THE STORY OF BORDERLINE PD

Borderline PD unfolds as a dark crime story told across eight interconnected tracks.

A series of murders has shaken the city. A detective is drawn into the investigation, while a killer appears to stay one step ahead of him, turning the case into an increasingly personal game of pursuit.

The story does not unfold chronologically. Each song reveals another piece of the case — from the murders and the investigation to the crime scene, the growing body count and the final chase.

As the story progresses, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur. Details that initially seem clear become less certain, and the listener is left to piece together what is really happening.

By the time Endgame brings the story to its conclusion, the case has become something very different from what it first appeared to be.

Eight tracks. One story. Nothing is quite what it seems.

ABOUT BACK FROM THE DEAD

Back From The Dead was released in 2021, during the COVID period when live music had come to a halt and the band, like everyone else, found itself away from the stage.

The release brought together a selection of songs that Shinigami had already been performing live and that had received a strong response from audiences.

At the time, the band consisted of Dionysis and Lefteris on guitars and vocals, Ektoras on bass and Kostas on drums, with Dionysis handling most of the lead vocals and Lefteris taking the lead on selected tracks.

Rather than starting from an entirely new direction, Back From The Dead captured songs that had already developed their identity through live performance and brought them together during a period when performing live was no longer possible.

ABOUT PAST MISTAKES

Past Mistakes is Shinigami’s debut album, released in 2010, one year after the band was formed.

At the time, Shinigami were still discovering their musical identity. The songs were rooted mainly in hard and heavy rock, but there was no fixed sound or formula behind the album. It was an experimental period for the band, driven by writing, playing and exploring different musical ideas.

The album captures Shinigami at the very beginning of their journey — before the band’s sound, songwriting approach and identity developed into what they are today.

This is where it all started.
